She walks in, looks around
smiles, nods a greeting to someone by the door.
A boy calls out, waves her down
"hey hows the week been?"
"ok. And yours?"
He's off. Telling her all the things hes seen.
Explaining this and that, waving his hands.
She doesnt know who, what, where, when
but smiles and looks as though she understands
She talks to others, it's the same old whirl.
They have something she does not.
"can i change it, i wonder?" thinks the girl
"oh well" she says out loud, "it shouldn't matter in the long run"

good friends with no one
